Arctic 2019

    Co-Chief Scientists: Martin Jakobsson, Stockholm University, and Larry Mayer, University of New Hampshire, USA.

Antarctica 2020

  • CHAQ – Creating Cultural Heritage in Antarctica
    CHAQ 2020 is an Argentine-Swedish expedition that will study the historical remains of the first Swedish Antarctic expedition 1901-1903.
    Led by Dr Pablo Fontana, Head of Unit for Humanities and Social Sciences at the Argentine Antarctic Institute. Professor Dag Avango, Luleå University of Technology/Royal Institute of Technology is PI for CHAQ 2020 and leads the Swedish team.

    Expedition Leader: Ola Eriksson, Technical Coordinator at the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat.
